Hi,I met Peter only a few times during the last few months of his life. My regret is that I didn't get to know him sooner. His stories were wonderful, his grasp of the past intense in perhaps the way the end brings to us all. Peter was failing in health when I first was introduced to him, by Mimi, and yet, the meeting of Peter, forever changed my life. I met a man who had lived his life the way he wanted to, not totally without regrets, but totally without apology. I met a man who still looked forward to sailing the world, if only in his dreams. I met a man who loved his woman deeply and with a pride in her and her abilities. I met a man who treated me with respect and an old world gentleman spirit (with a twinkle in his eye as he also checked out the womanly aspects of my person). I met a man who was REAL. G-d Speed Peter. You touched my life and taught me a valuable lesson regarding living life to the fullest, without apology. Thank you Peter, and thank you Mimi for introducing us.
In Fond Remembrance,
Boo
